Modern life was not made for the human frame. It has made it too easy for us to forget our physicality; it has disconnected us from the energy flowing through us; and it has imposed on us all kinds of stresses and strains. Yoga fitness is something that we can all aspire to, because unlike other high impact sports, yoga does not require you to jump in at the deep end.
Yoga Fitness Fixes Lethargy
Modern life was not made for the human frame. It has made it too easy for us to forget our physicality; it has disconnected us from the energy flowing through us; and it has imposed on us all kinds of stresses and strains. Machines whisk us from place to place, leaving only our eyes and hands in motion; offices are places where we slouch disinterestedly, or crouch stiffly over computers. And at home, the couch molds round us, and holds onto us as we watch the flickering entertainment. It's no wonder that the body is left distorted, crooked, de-energized and ready to rebel.
Yoga - The Low-Impact Sport
If you're one of those afflicted with the multiplying ailments of modern life, from sleeplessness and lack of energy, to irritable bowels or a grumbling back, then you'll be pleased to know there is an easy way to help sweep those complaints away. Yoga fitness is something that we can all aspire to, because unlike other high impact sports, yoga does not require you to jump in at the deep end. Yoga is more a state of mind - or rather a change of approach to the mind-body relationship.
The Yoga Body is Flexible
Yoga has a vast universe of mental and physical exercises to draw from, to reconnect mind, body and spirit. It can start from gentle beginnings, with simple stretches and breathing routines. These beginning exercises are ones that anyone can easily slip into their daily routine - with just ten or twenty minutes a day needed to see real changes. As your yoga body awareness begins to develop further, you'll find that your body is becoming your friend again. Suppleness, posture and flexibility will return to you in good measure, and you will find your muscles becoming more toned and responsive.
Yoga Sports Can Challenge the Mind
Once you have discovered the amazing fact that you have far more control over the detail of your body, than you ever thought possible, you'll be ready to expand your yoga to the more challenging postures. These can be tailored to improve your core strength, or to target particular conditions in your body that hold you back. This can help you at play too. For those undertaking 30 minutes or more of daily yoga sport will become a more pleasurable, and less injury prone activity. This is because of the fundamental improvements to your muscle tone, balance and all round flexibility. So yoga practice has an incredible range of benefits to offerScience Articles, in so many areas of modern life - not bad for something often denigrated as glorified stretching.

YOGA AND RELIGION.
In this article, I choose to introduce my view with the following examples that merit to cite them. In the world Olympic sports, we can see some athletes worshiping god in the end or the beginning of their intense efforts. At the same time in our world, may be a new student entered in the Yoga class for the first experience in this practice, when he perceive a Buddha statuette in front of the gymnasium. A Worker doing the specific and same moves to make his everyday goals. That worker, how many times did he repeat those movements? And after a long week of work his has to decide to have a break.
. Near to those ideas, all of us remember the right words. From family to its descendants, from grandfathers to little sons and from generations to generations. Always some special persons take the task to remember the humanity truths. In yoga practice, we can find the same principles likes all human acts. But its ideal is the perfect entities states: body, breathing and mind. The perfection is a return to a just, inner and natural state. All the ancient Yogis told about those rules.Buddha was not the first person how discovered them, otherwise he refound them among multiple and complex heritage. The modern sciences discover their importance day by day, and their utilities Yogis experienced, with multiple poses.Like the example of the worker, Yoga poses diversity show the yogis other state of being. From the simplest to complicated one, where we can try out uncommon body expressions. As an artist who is trying to show what he may see or listen to us. He had a feeling which he want to share with us. The old yogis give their new sensations to the descendant generations. In the end , Yoga is complex and simple in the same time. It can compose the opposites. We talk about a science than a religion. It help human to discover himself : the rules of his existence ,also his body and mind functions. In addition, we never find Indian Statistics told about Yoga as a popular religion .

Meditation – the Greatest Relaxation Technique of all!
Stress is no joke it can ruin your health, your relationships and your happiness. But it doesn’t need to, not if you know how to get rid of it. One of the easiest ways to do this is meditation. Meditation has long been used as a tool for deep relaxation and rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit.
The fact is that there are a variety of meditation techniques you can use ranging from the more commonly known types of ‘passive’ meditation techniques to the less familiar ‘active’ meditation techniques.
After studying the art of meditation and relaxation for the past 20 years I have come to the conclusion that there is a meditation technique that will work for everyone, despite the fact that many people have given up on learning to meditate because they get frustrated when it doesn’t work for them straight away.
The secret is to find a meditation technique that works for you even if it means trying out several different techniques. To give-up before you find one that works for you is to miss out on one of the greatest relaxation and life-transforming tools on the planet.
Meditation as a Stress Relief Activity
Let’s look at little closer at the two different kinds of meditations I spoke of earlier.
Passive meditation techniques are those that require nothing more than for you to sit down, close your eyes and either listen to a recorded visualization or use your mind to focus on something that helps your mind relax and slow down.
Active meditation techniques are for people who really find it hard to relax and unwind from the day. They work best for people whose minds are very active and who find sitting still for more than a few minutes about as easy as watching grass grow.
Before we talk more about active meditations let's look at some of the reasons why meditation is so good for you.
Natural Stress Relief through Meditation
Meditation is scientifically proven to lower your heart rate and blood pressure, change brain wave functions and reduce stress and tension in your body. It is a convenient, practical and relaxing way to take time-out from hectic and demanding routines.
The purpose of meditation is to slow down your brainwaves. As this happens your body starts to relax. This is exactly the same process that occurs when you fall asleep. The deeper you sleep, the slower your brainwaves. This is what allows your body to detoxify from the day’s activities wake up feeling refreshed and recharged.
You can also get the same benefit from a 20 minute meditation. Meditation is a natural way to slow down your brainwaves which then sends messages to your body to relax and get rid of excess tension in your body.
The latest research on meditation undertaken by medical schools proves that it reduces stress, blood pressure, heart disease and anxiety while it increases mental abilities, focus, concentration and longevity. Some of the other benefits of prolonged meditation practise are improvement in sleep patterns, more happiness and calmness and increased confidence and motivation. On a personal level I have found that meditation has been the tool that has unleashed my creative genius which has blessed me with a life of passion and purpose. It is only since I began meditating that I have written several books, travelled the world teaching seminars on rapid personal development and successfully built my own training and coaching business. How does meditation do all this? While there are many scientific studies that go into detail of the how and why meditation positively impacts your life the bottom line is that it causes many changes in your brain functioning which has a positive impact on areas such as memory, focus, concentration, problem solving and creativity. The by-product of this is that as your brainwave functions slow down during meditation your brain send outs chemical messages to your body to relax deeply, much similar as to when you fall asleep. This is when stress and anxiety melt away and you feel instantly calm and relaxed.
Meditation is the Ultimate Relaxation Technique
I recommend starting off with an active meditation technique if you find it hard to meditate silently in a seated position. One of the best active meditation relaxation techniques you can start with is progressive muscle relaxation.
No matter what meditation you start with make sure you get into the habit of doing it daily for the first 7 days. This will achieve two things. Firstly it will get you into the habit of taking time-out to relax. SecondlyComputer Technology Articles, this is enough time to do a comparison on the impact a full week’s meditation has had on your stress levels.

For instance, when we are thinking about a problem, we can say that we are meditating on that particular problem for a given period of time.
