2.2. Seated poses: sasangasana


Directions:

1. Begining with Child posture, clutch the heels with the hands and force the brow in towards the knees with the highest point of the head on the floor.

2. Holding firmly onto the heels, breathe in and lift the hips up towards the roof. Roll onto the crown of the head and press the brow as near the knees as would be prudent.

3. Inhale and hold for 4-8 breaths.

4. To discharge: gradually breathe out and bring down the hips to the heels and slide the brow back to the floor into youngster posture.
